How to change windows domain joined hostname ?

You joined your computer to domain and after restarting you remembered YOU DIDNT CHANGE COMPUTER NAME What you should do?

 

Just open command line CMD.EXE  on the client (which you want to change computer name) and type following;

netdom renamecomputername <old_computer_name>  /Newname <new_computer_name> and hit the Enter.Restart and VOLA !!! Yes that is easy.
